2.IPX1: Vertically falling water droplets have no harmful effects. This level indicates that the LED waterproof lamp can withstand vertically falling water droplets and is suitable for drier indoor environments. But please note that this does not mean that the light fixture can be completely submerged in water or used in the rain.
3.IPX2: When the lamp is tilted to 15 degrees from the normal operating position, vertically falling water droplets should have no harmful effects. Compared with IPX1, this level improves the waterproof ability of the lamp, but it is also only suitable for drier environments.
4.IPX3: When the lamp is tilted 60 degrees, there is still no harmful effect. At this level, the LED waterproof light can withstand water droplets when tilted at a larger angle, but it is also not suitable for direct immersion in water or rain.
5.IPX4: Water splashed out has no harmful effects. With an IPX4 rating, LED waterproof lights can resist splashing water from any direction and are suitable for use in humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens. However, please note that direct immersion in water for a long time may still cause damage to the lamp.
6.IPX5: Directly sprayed by water from any direction without harmful effects. LED waterproof lights at this level can withstand water spray from any direction and are suitable for outdoor environments, such as terraces, courtyards, etc. But please avoid immersing the lamp directly in water.
7.IPX6: Violent waves or strong water jets should have no harmful effects. IPX6-rated LED waterproof lights have extremely high waterproof capabilities and can withstand the impact of strong water sprays or waves. They are suitable for extremely humid environments such as seaside and swimming pools.
8.IPX7: When the lamp is immersed in water under the specified time and pressure, the amount of water entering should not reach a harmful level. LED waterproof lights at this level can be immersed in water to a certain depth and time, and are suitable for scenes that require complete immersion in water, such as diving lights.
9.IPX8: When the lamp is immersed in water under a certain pressure, the amount of water inflow should not reach a harmful level. The IPX8 rating is similar to IPX7, but puts more emphasis on waterproofing capabilities under specific pressures. This means that LED waterproof lights can be used in deeper waters and are suitable for extreme environments such as deep sea diving.
10.IPX9K: Protection against high temperature and high pressure jet water. This is one of the highest levels of waterproofing currently and is mainly targeted at some special application scenarios, such as car cleaning equipment, industrial cleaning machines, etc. At this level, LED waterproof lights can withstand the impact of water jets under high temperature and high pressure, ensuring that the equipment can operate normally under extreme conditions.
